Figure of the Holy Mary called in folk tradition “Blueberry Madonna”.
When the pregnant Mary was crossing the forest on the way to her cousin Elizabeth – because of hunger – she had to eat some blueberrys. In remembrance of this affair – 02 of July – in folk tradition is prohibited to berry in order not to rid Holy Mary of her food.
“Blueberry Madonna” is a patroness of pregnant women.
